WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2008
Over the years THQ has had many takes on the world of pro wrestling. Their WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) wrestling games have seen a really good success rating – maybe because of ravenous wrestling followers – and each has had their share of criticism. On November 9th, which is fast approaching, wrestling fans and gamers wait eagerly for the next installment of the WWE franchise game to be released. The previous 2007 installment provided a lot of ups, but seemed to fall short of the mark, which was ...

Wet
Late next year, Sierra Entertainment will bring a new heroine onto the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Her name is Rubi...and she's described as a "problem fixer". Sounds pretty general, huh? Let expound: Her main occupation is that of an assassin/mercenary who gets double-crossed by one of her own clients. A simple job goes wrong and before you know it, she is left for dead. Using her two pistols, a sword and some insane abilities, she begins her journey to find the one who double crossed her, killing ...

Clive Barker`s Jericho
Next generation action-horror takes a turn down the road of incited intrigue and qualm. Clive Barker’s Jericho has the most disturbing images ever present in a video game. Some of the creatures make you question where the artists even came across some of the textures and concepts. But this first person shooter has more to it than just grotesque fiends and paranormal encounters. The game will actually have elements of squad-based combat and fast-paced FPS gun battles. Yet, even that description doesn’t really cover how strange and complicated ...

Resident Evil 5
After a long and arduous wait, the next installment in the legendary Resident Evil franchise was showcased once again. Whilst the first trailer didn't divulge much in terms of storyline or setting, was evident that the series is again branching out to an entirely new environment. And although we'll have to wait until July 27th to see the newest trailer in all its glory, some highly interesting new tidbits can be seen from the shorter cut teaser.
While we aren't clear on the identity of the lead ...

Killzone 2
Disclaimer:
These are impressions from an E3 build and do not reflect what the final game product will resemble. I’m just pointing out what I see.
With E3 underway a lot the questions we have been asking for the past year are finally being answered. At the top of the list for Sony fans is obviously Killzone 2. Does it deliver on the E3 trailer of last year? Will it become the Halo killer for Sony?
The good people at

Little Big Planet
Every year comes, and every year the Game Developers Conference fails to deliver on any kind of intriguing gaming announcement (arguably). Despite this, the downsizing of the gaming world’s premier showcase, E3, meant that the GDC now takes center stage over pretty much any show around. And as you’d expect, Sony took it upon themselves to give PS3 owners some good news, which has been utterly groundless recently. Coupled with the announcement of the much anticipated Home, LittleBigPlanet came as quite a shock to the audience at Sony’s ...

Ninja Gaiden Sigma
Ninja Gaiden is one of those games that make people either cringe or smile. On the one hand, it was so hard many casual gamers found themselves quickly exchanging it for another while the hardcore crowd fought their way through a series of difficult, but awesome encounters. It has been a few years since a Ninja Gaiden game has been released, so it isn't surprising to hear that Ninja Gaiden Sigma was announced for the PS3. However, don't get all excited. This is, again, just a remake of ...

Medal of Honor Airborne
It’s very obvious that there is an amazing abundance of World War II games available, from the Playstation all the way to the Playstation 3 (and Xbox 360). Credit of the iteration belongs to Electronic Arts’ Medal of Honor franchise, which dates back to 1999 on the Playstation. Many have followed suit, and include: Ubisoft’s
Brothers in Arms
series, and Activision’s
Call of Duty
series. Each, respectively, has brought the WWII theatre to the living room TV and has followed just about every major (and minor) battle ...

Lair
Factor 5 has gone out on a limb to define a serious separation between Xbox 360 games and PlayStation 3 games. While they may have been known for their Rogue Squadron games Nintendo consoles, this new beast they’re working on is entirely different. Lair is a composite of extremely detailed dragons doing battle in the air and on the ground. As a matter of fact, “detailed” may be an understatement.
Perfect blends for the next-gen
Unlike most games that contain one really
good
gimmick, ...

Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire
Namco-Bandai. The name says a lot. After their recent merger expectations are high for the newly formed company and gamers expect their PS3 release title, Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire, to deliver. Bandai Entertainment Company has just wrapped up the development of the new Gundam game and it is looking pretty awesome, and might I add, better than it’s debut at E3 ’06…
At Sony’s Gamers Day, they showed off a playable demo that sported a much more refined look, with smoother textures and a much better ...
